An electrical mess.

We have all heard the saying that “you get what you pay for”. This is especially appropriate in the case of today’s HVAC. HVAC equipment is no longer simple mechanics but complex technology. It is not just about technology though but also about common sense and pride in your work. At Pacific Air Comfort we have some of the most highly trained Installers and Service Technicians but we also have common sense and take pride in what we do. Apparently there are companies that do not feel the same as us.

The elctrical panels pictured here, we came across at one of our jobsites, you don’t have to be an electrician to know something is wrong. The jumble of wires, unprotected fuse buses, dangling relays, wire nuts etc. should never have happened.

A newly installed heat pump and the old left behind.

Just this past week, one of our salesmen was at one of our clients’ homes following up on the installation of a new heat pump when he noticed the two heat pumps sitting at the neighbors. He walked over to see what had happened when our client came out of his house and noticed our salesman at the neighbors. He explained that the neighbor had recently had a new heat pump installed but whomever did the work simply cut the lines to the old, moved it over, hooked up the new and left without removing the old heat pump. We couldn’t believe someone would do that but apparently they did. Our client said he couldn’t be happier with the work we did and asked for a stack of cards to hand out. He also planned on telling his neighbor about us.

If you need work done on your existing HVAC equipment or are interested in replacing your old equipment and want a company you can trust, please contact us at one of our three offices.
