When you think of HVAC you typically think of homes and normal everyday commercial buildings. We do on occasion get to go to some pretty unusual job sites though. Yesterday, two of our employees had to go out to a fire watch station an hour outside of Powers to help the Forest Service with the installation of a heater in one of their watch towers. Besides the location, what is interesting is the watch tower is no longer used to watch for fires as that is now done with video cameras and computers. Now the Forest Service rents the tower to anyone who wants to camp out there in the tower. If you want to experience nature, have unbelievable privacy and breath taking views, this is the place for you. The tower rents for $35.00 a night. If you are interested in learning more about the Bald Knob watch tower or to see what other towers are available for rent, go to www.recreation.gov or call 1-877-444-6777.
